NASA, the smartest people in the world, have found evidence that UV radiation is increasing across the world. The cause is our tattered ozone layer, thinned and shredded from carbon emissions and greenhouse gasses (though who wants to believe that?). In fact, the study also showed evidence that treaties to reduce emissions had marked effects in halting the increase in UV radiation, meaning we can prevent our planet from becoming the next Venus, but we have to take steps now.
